Jackie Cohen
A stacked bill of rising singers and songwriters: Spacebomb artist Jackie Cohen recorded “Tacoma Night Terror Part 2: Self-Fulfilling Elegy” at Montrose but it sounds more ’70s Los Angeles with an ambitious and theatrical mixture of rock, pop and country (plus she sounds a little bit like Stevie Nicks). She’ll be joined by Richmond’s talented Angelica Garcia as well as Strawberry Moon, the lovely bedroom pop project of guitarist Katie Bowles, whose “Dust Bath” was one of the best local releases of last year. The show starts at 8 p.m. $10. galleryfive.org.
