Halestorm at the National

November 28.

Halestorm frontwoman Lzzy Hale has quite the mouth on her. For years she's been putting it to good use, belting out all kinds of kiss-offs and bad-girl lyricisms alongside her band's rough-sex rock sound. Undoubtedly carving out a smart and marketable identity in a predominantly testosterone-dominated genre, this Pennsylvania quartet offers up some visible and audible lust to its melodic crunch. With tunes such as “Dirty Work,” “Bet U Wish U Had Me Back,” and its not-so-cryptic lead single, “I Get Off,” from its self-titled debut, Halestorm is scheduled to perform at the National with openers Aranda on Saturday, Nov. 28, at 7 p.m. $13.
