
Richmond joins a worldwide observance of World Meditation Day with an in-person gathering at the Heartfulness Meditation Center, connecting local participants with millions across the globe in a shared moment of stillness.
The program begins with a brief, accessible introduction to Heartfulness Meditation, followed by participation in a live-streamed global guided meditation led by Heartfulness teacher Daaji. Designed for both newcomers and experienced meditators, the gathering offers a calm, intentional space to step away from daily noise and experience collective quiet.
Meditating together in a dedicated environment highlights the social and cultural dimension of meditation—how individual stillness can become a shared experience. Attendees will also have the opportunity to ask questions, learn simple ways to continue the practice, and connect with others in the Richmond community.
Heartfulness Meditation is a secular, minimalist approach focused on relaxation and inner balance. No prior experience is required. Light refreshments will be available following the session.
