Virginia Wildlife Trail Grrrrand Reopening
On Saturday, May 2, celebrate the reopening of Maymont’s beloved Virginia Wildlife Trail, a forever home for rescued and rehabilitated native wildlife nestled in a forested valley in the heart of Richmond. After a two-year enhancement project, explore the new and remodeled habitats, with more accessible pathways, new interpretive signs and more ways to view our wildlife residents, including old friends Big Bear and Little Bear and Finnley the fox, and our newest residents, two porcupines and a coyote! Enjoy free entertainment from 10am-4pm, including games and crafts, live music and food trucks, plus animal keeper talks.
