The Branch Museum of Design: Confluence Opening Reception
The Branch Museum of Design proudly presents Confluence, featuring the work of Vietnamese American artist Kenny Nguyen. On view September 10 – December 10, 2025.
Rooted in the idea of different elements meeting, Confluence explores how materials, memories, and histories merge into something new. Working with hand-cut silk, Nguyen transforms a material tied to tradition into sculptural forms that blur the boundaries of painting, textile, and sculpture. The exhibition features artwork and original fashion sketches by Nguyen, along with new bespoke pieces inspired by the Branch House—its geometry, materials, and shifting light.
Join us for the opening reception on Wednesday, September 10, from 6–8 PM – visitors will enjoy complimentary entry to the exhibition along with an open bar and light snacks. Free parking is available in the First Baptist lot, accessible from Robinson or Park.
