
The Shady Grove Coffeehouse folk music concert series kicks off its 24th season on September 13 at 7:30 PM with a concert by the Anvil Brothers, with Special Guest Andrea Larson. The band, comprised of multi-instrumentalists, is known for their progressive acoustic music, which spans genres like folk, country, blues, and rock and roll. The Anvil Brothers will perform a mix of their original songs from their album, Little Stories, as well as new music from their upcoming release. The setlist will also include covers of popular artists like Bob Dylan, Chris Stapleton, and The Beatles.
In addition to Special Guest Andrea Larson on fiddle, the Anvil Brothers are Aaron Jonas (bass), Dan Gillespie (keyboards, vocals, harmonica), Donnie Durham (banjo, dobro, vocals), Doug Hepler (guitar, mandolin, vocals), and Jim Mohr (mandolin, violin, guitar, vocals). The Anvil Brothers always put on a great show – don’t miss it!
