Teresa Sharpe Retrospective Solo Show
We cordially invite you to experience world-renowned artist and tattooer Teresa Sharpe’s first ever retrospective solo art show, celebrating the past ten years of her work—and the ten year anniversary of her tattoo shop, Unkindness Art.
This gallery show will feature many of Teresa’s original paintings completed within the past 10 years; her unique style of highly detailed dark illustrative work draws from a wide range of inspiration, from mythological figures and fantastical creatures, to modern pop culture subjects from comic books and video games. Paintings range from tiny to monumental in size, and all paintings featured at the show will be available for purchase.
In conjunction with the gallery show, we’ll be re-releasing for sale 15 of Teresa’s most loved art prints from the last decade, including a limited number of hand-embellished special edition prints. Raffle drawing will take place at 8pm on gallery opening night.
This show is hosted by Unkindness Art’s sister store Nevermore, located at 2925 North Avenue in Richmond, VA. Opening night is 7-9pm on Friday October 17; the show runs through Sunday, November 23rd.
