Sunrise Science: Synchrotron Science

August 25, 2025 @ 8:00 am - 9:00 am
Free

Shining a new light on old bones!

Just because the fossils are old, doesn’t mean the technology used to examine them has to be. Join us for coffee and a morning discussion about how present-day paleontology is shining a new light on old bones.

Hear from Dr. Jennifer “Indy” Anné about how researchers are using modern technology to reexamine fossils. Anné will share how new technological applications of physics, chemistry and computer engineering have revitalized paleontology in the 21st century and are unleashing hidden information.
