Storytime at the Memorial: Prisoner of War & Missing in Action History – September 23, 2025
NEW THIS FALL!
Storytime at the Memorial is now happening one weekday and one Saturday each month. Join us Tuesday, September 23 at the Virginia War Memorial for free, educator-led readings of children’s history books and fun craft activities. Families are welcome—recommended for kids ages 4 to 10.
This Month’s Featured Book: America’s White Table by Margot Theis Raven
Craft Activity: Decorate small flowerpots, choose seeds for planting at home and enjoy coloring patriotic paper placemats.
