Sordid Shockoe: Ghost and Dark History Tour
Take a spooky walk through historic Shockoe Slip in Richmond’s first ghost tour of the old shipping district. Hear spine tingling tales of hundreds of drownings at Richmond’s old wharves, the Southern Railway train disaster of 1909, and the Curse of American Tobacco Company, a series of tragedies that befell the staff of the company for years.
Note: This tour meets on the corner of 12th and Cary in front of the Omni. Please note we do not meet in the lobby or the valet area.
