Science on Tap: Dino Night

Make tracks to a dino-themed 21+ event! Our next Science on Tap is a prehistoric extravaganza. The museum will be open for exploration and paleo programming will be held throughout the evening—just for adults! See how knowledge of DNA and plate tectonics helps us better understand dinosaurs, make your own take-home dino accessories in The Forge and get a look at the time of dinosaurs from the quarter-acre screen in The Dome.

This massive experience coincides with our touring exhibition Ultimate Dinosaurs, which features 17 full-size skeletons, dozens of additional fossils and interactive elements. Normally we charge extra for a ticket to the exhibition, but at Science on Tap, it’s included. That’s a dino-brainer!

Bars will sell a variety of adult beverages. Non-alcoholic drinks, candy and popcorn will be available at concessions. Food trucks Parallel Stix, River City Wood Fire Pizza and Gelati Celesti will be selling food onsite.

Who Can Come?
Trying to attend if you’re under 21? That’s a gigantic no-go. Science on Tap events are absolutely, positively kid-free. Even if you’re not drinking alcohol, you still need to be 21 and you must bring your ID. Costumes are encouraged (as long as they don’t cover your face).

Ticket Options
Tickets are $18 for Science Museum members and $25 for non-members.

To control the flow of traffic, we’re spacing out entry times. Tickets will be available with a 6, 6:30 or 7 p.m. start time so we can help make the line at Guest Services go extinct. All guests can stay until the end of the event at 10 p.m

Tickets for this event are capped to help ensure a superior guest experience. The event could sell out, so be sure you purchase your tickets early. Tickets are only available online.

Drink tickets will be for sale at the event. All event and drink ticket sales are final.
