5th Wall Theatre opens its 2025/2026 Season in our new home—The Basement—with Alexis Scheer’s Our Dear Dead Drug Lord.

High above Miami, four teenage girls gather in a cluttered treehouse to conduct a séance to summon the spirit of Pablo Escobar. What begins as a game of guts and giggles spirals into a darkly funny, fiercely emotional exploration of friendship, power, and grief. Part occult ritual, part coming-of-age chaos, Our Dear Dead Drug Lord invites audiences into a world where girlhood is both sacred and dangerous—and where growing up can feel like a haunting all its own.
