Mourning A BLKstar and Knifing Aroung at Get Tight Lounge
Founded in Cleveland, Ohio, Mourning [A] BLKstar is an Afrofuturist collective dedicated to sharing songs and stories of America’s cultural paradox, melding live soul instrumentation and 3 harmonizing vocalists with hip-hop production, creating sonic frequencies to illuminate the African Diaspora. They also act as the international backing band for African American singer, songwriter and outsider artist Lonnie Holley. With support by local no wave group Knifing Around.
