History of Oregon Hill Walking Tour
Oregon Hill originated as a residential area for employees of Tredegar Iron Works, and today it remains a vibrant part of Richmond’s landscape. Learn about the Angel of Oregon Hill, the lesser-known William Byrd III, Hollywood Cemetery, the infamous Virginia State Penitentiary and more as we explore the history and architecture of this unique Richmond neighborhood.
Advanced tickets required. $20 for adults, $10 for members, free for kids. Tour begins at Laurel and Idlewood Streets in front of St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church, 240 S. Laurel St.
