Goochland Community Theatre presents Little Women by Louisa May Alcott, adapted by Gary Peterson, directed by Meagan Justice and Emily Gerber September 26th through 28th. Adapted from the beloved novel, the play “Little Women” follows the four March sisters—Meg, Jo, Beth, and Amy—as they
navigate their childhood and come of age during the Civil War era. Their father is away at war,
and their mother, Marmee, is at home keeping the family together. The story explores their
dreams, challenges, and relationships, highlighting Jo’s aspirations as a writer and the family’s journey through joy, heartbreak, and hope as each sister discovers who she was meant to become.
Showtimes are Friday, September 26 at 7:00PM, Saturday, September 27 at 2:00PM and 7:00PM, and Sunday, September 28 at 2:00PM. The show takes place at the Eagle Theater at Central High Cultural and Educational Complex, 2748 Dogtown Rd, Goochland. Admission is $15.
