Global Crafts for Kids

Join us for a special morning of spring break programming designed for elementary-age visitors! From 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, families are invited to stop by the museum lobby for a series of crafts inspired by global traditions. Participants can try paper weaving connected to Mali’s heritage and create colorful lanterns, or fanous, celebrating Egyptian culture.
After crafting, be sure to visit We the People: The World in Our Commonwealth to discover the journeys, cultures, and contributions of immigrants who have made Virginia home.
The program is entirely drop-in! Come any time between 10:00 AM and 12:00 PM and enjoy creating, learning, and exploring!
This program is included with Daily Museum Admission.
