Día de los Muertos Festival: A Celebration of Arts, Culture, and Life

Join us for a joyful celebration of life, art, and culture at the annual Día de los Muertos Festival in Chester, Virginia! Hosted in partnership with the Latin Ballet of Virginia and the Perkinson Center for the Arts and Education, this vibrant community event honors the traditions of Día de los Muertos through live performances, dance, music, food, and hands-on art activities for all ages.

Festival Highlights:

? 11:30 AM & 2:30 PM – Latin Ballet of Virginia
Opening and closing performances celebrating Día de los Muertos through dance, rhythm, and storytelling.

? 12:30 PM – Tradición Dance Company
Experience the rich history and folklore of Puerto Rico and Latin America through vibrant, dynamic dance.

? 1:30 PM – Sacred Heart Folklórico (Sacred Heart Center)
Youth dancers share traditional Latin American and Spanish folk dances that celebrate heritage and community.

? Art-making stations, crafts, and face painting for all ages
