Agave & Ice: Tequila 101

Gather & Hem invites you to Agave & Ice: Tequila 101, a hands-on cocktail class happening Thursday, July 31, 2025, from 6-8 PM at their downtown Richmond cocktail bar inside the Hilton. This cocktail class features a guided Don Julio tequila flight, expert-led tastings of blanco, reposado, and añejo tequilas, and live cocktail demonstrations of three summer-inspired drinks, including the exclusive “Mezzcalculated Risk” and the fan-favorite “Tequila Pipeline.” Guests will sample three cocktails, enjoy a full-size pour of their favorite, and take home a printed recipe card with ingredients and instructions. Tickets are $30 and include the tasting, cocktail samples, and recipe card. With only 16 spots available, early booking is encouraged. After the class, guests are invited to explore Gather & Hem’s new seasonal food menu, available for purchase. This event is part of Gather & Hem’s Summer Cocktail Class Series, running monthly through September 2025.
