“Couldn’t We Ride” at Quirk Gallery

July 1 through Aug. 28

Being a cyclist in a city brings forth a lot of mixed feelings — mostly from car drivers trying not to kill one (accidentally or not). However you feel about the people steering the handle bars, bicycles are still a great way to get around, and use zero fuel. Whether you enjoy a little uni, tri or tandem action, Quirk Gallery helps you celebrate your love for transportation efficiency with its opening, “Couldn't We Ride,” an exhibit featuring art inspired by and using pedaled transport. Including such wide-ranging mediums as paintings, photographs, decorated frames, saddles and chains, the show unveils July 1, and stays on display through Aug. 28.
