Stage B Theatre, one of Richmond’s newest theater companies, offers its third production, "Brew," an original play that shows a day in the life of a local Richmond coffee shop, its employees and customers. The work, fittingly enough, will be performed in the Church Hill coffee shop Globehopper for added effect. "The play is the direct result of a series of interviews our playwright in residence, Ian Page, [conducted] at various local coffee shops around town," says director Thomas Callan. "He compiled these stories into a night of vignettes focused around two employees and their often quirky customers." Grab a cup of coffee, put down the laptop and watch the human stories unfold as “Brew" opens at Globehopper Coffee on Friday, Nov. 11, and until Nov. 20. $8-$10. stagebtheatre.com.
