For the first time, the World Heritage Festival series is coming to Brown’s Island and bringing the Festival of Kites. Show off your kite flying skills. There will be a limited number of kites on sale and food vendors showcasing “ethnic food, fresh smoothies and traditional beverages.” Also featured are cultural performances with folk dances from Bolivia, Brazil, Egypt, Hungary, India and Japan. More than 60 artists will be displaying fine art, jewelry, ceramics and crafts. Rain or shine. Free.
