The annual Ukrop’s Christmas Parade returns to Richmond’s Broad Street on Saturday, Dec. 1. The theme of this year’s parade is “Making Richmond Holiday Memories.” With Emmy award-winning actress Kim Zimmer of “Guiding Light,” as grand marshal, it will certain be a memorable event for soap opera fans. The parade also features the usual high-flying balloons, decorative floats and of course, Santa Claus.
