“Motorik Twilight” is a direct dividing line between singer, songwriter and guitarist Landis Wine’s last band, Cinemasophia, and his new vision as White Laces. Rather than building songs slowly up to a climax, White Laces is louder and more impactful, taking your basic dream-pop foundation and quickly blasting into visceral shoe-gaze anthems.
