has rewritten its menu and rescheduled the downstairs entertainment, adding more tapas to the menu and dropping live entertainment in favor of DJs spinning house and acid jazz. If you haven’t been to Europa, it’s a sleek restaurant in the Slip and the only place in town with a full menu of tapas, Spanish appetizers. Don’t miss the big St. Patrick’s Day celebration this Saturday at the 17th Street Farmer’s Market, sponsored by O’Brienstein’s. The event features a whole day of live music (including the Connells and Lenahan) contests and food, noon-7 p.m. rain or shine. Free.

The former Brenda’s/ Hondo’s building out on Plaza Drive in Goochland has reopened as a new restaurant. Manakin Grill owners Darrin and Julie Witten opened a family-friendly place featuring traditional and creative cuisine like stuffed quail, Angus steak and fresh fish.
