Do you know a Very Richmond dog that embodies the spirit of our region? Style Weekly is partnering with 804 Day: Richmond’s Biggest Block Party to find a four-legged friend to help celebrate.

Whether it’s their charm, style, unique story, or most Richmond attitude, we want to see what makes your dog the perfect candidate.

The winner will receive a prize from Fan Veterinary Clinic and be featured on styleweekly.com, with their portrait captured by Style photographer Scott Elmquist.

Most importantly, the Official Dog of 804 Day will assume ceremonial duties onstage at 804 Day in Shockoe Bottom on Friday, Aug. 2, to kick off the party.

The Rules

• Nominate your dog by completing the entry form below. The deadline is July 18 at noon.
• Participants must reside in the Richmond region and be available to attend 804 Day in person on August 2.
• Voting begins on July 19 and runs through July 25 at noon. Users can vote once daily, so spread the word on social media.

The winner will be notified via email on July 26.
