In his new book, “Superman: the High-Flying History of America’s Most Enduring Hero,” award-winning journalist and New York Times best-selling author Larry Tye chronicles the seven-decade history of the Man of Steel from cartoon character to movie star. The lifelong fan of the über-patriot from Krypton discusses his engrossing history of the fictional character and his effect on popular culture Tuesday, Nov. 12, at Weinstein JCC.
