Monday is national romantic love day. If you’re the last-minute type you are probably in a panic to find that special Valentine’s Day dinner. Here’s the scenario — the reservations at all of your favorite romantic spots are booked, and waiting for a table at the local steakhouse chain has “I blew it” written all over the menu. Don’t worry, there’s still hope. Strawberry Street Vineyard offers you a chance to pretend like you’ve been planning the occasion for months with their “Sweetheart of a Meal” Valentine’s Day dinner package for two. The package includes two live lobsters, two petite filets, a split of champagne and a box of chocolates. The $55 price tag is minuscule when compared to dinners at premium restaurants. The package will be available from Friday, Feb. 11, right up until D-day, Monday, Feb. 14. 407 N. Strawberry St. 355-1839. If the love of your life is a big, fat stogie, you don’t want to miss the cigar smoker and dinner coming up Tuesday, Feb. 21, at Buckhead’s Restaurant and Chop House. The cigar cocktail hour features La Gloria Cubana Series R No.4, and Romeo and Julieta Vintage V cigars, accompanied by single-malt Scotch and small-batch bourbon. After the hors d’oeuvres are served, relax at a table during the five-course dinner, followed by more cigar smoking and copious amounts of tawny port to knock out anyone left standing. The event is $100 per person, and reservations can be made at 750-2000. Buckhead’s is located at 8510 Patterson
