There's a quote in the “Not so Easy” article (Street Talk, Feb. 9) where I said, “Easy to love is great if you are promoting syphilis.” Well it was from what I said a couple of years ago in response to a study that said Richmond was one of the leaders in syphilis cases. I jokingly said this and learned an important lesson: Whatever you say may come back to haunt you.
