We may not know where to find a partridge in a pear tree (well, actually we might, but we can’t share all our secrets) but we do have a dozen, delicious RVA-made gifts for you to shower your loved ones with. You don’t have 12 days left, but we believe in you — get thee to shopping locally for all these last-minute stunners.
12. JC Desserts chocolates
Snag the prettiest chocolates in town, handmade by JC Desserts, by ordering online or visit the Holiday Pop-Up at Hatch Kitchen (2601 Maury St. Building 2) on Dec. 19-24 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Dec. 26 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

11. Superior Creamery holiday confections
Speaking of prettiest, Superior Creamery’s selection of chocolate barks, meringues, sipping ganaches and homemade marshmallows are dipped in glitter, covered in sprinkles and the easiest premade stocking stuffers, hostess gifts and treat-yourself goodies in town. Find the marshmallows, barks and meringues at The Book Exchange.
10. Hike Hopped Seltzer
No one can get enough hydration over the holidays, so why not gift a little? The taste of hops can be super pleasing to the palate and Hike has varieties that should please all the palates. Also it’s gluten-free, sugar-free (the original Citra Hop flavor) and totally ABV free. You can purchase the cans all over town, check out the location finder online.

9. Blanchard’s Coffee Holiday Blend
We look forward to this rich, balanced coffee blend all year long, not to mention the festive packaging that doesn’t even require gift-wrapping. The spices and the aroma hit just right to fuel you through the season.

8. Lammar Marie’s Gourmet Popcorn
Lammar Marie’s holiday gift box is made for the popcorn lover in your life. It has five different popcorn varieties. Three of the flavors are LM’s most popular: snickerdoodle, buttery white cheddar and caramel. The other two are holiday treats, dark chocolate cherry and cookies and cream. Pro-tip: Buttery white cheddar and caramel together is the world’s best popcorn bite.

7. Sub Rosa croissants
We couldn’t be happier that our award-winning and beloved bakery is open again. Evrim and Evin Dogu’s flaky pastries were so very missed by the Richmond dining public. Anyone in your gift-giving sphere can utilize a box of croissants: for the week before Xmas or Xmas day breakfast or midnight solo stress eating.

6. Miss Maude’s chocolate bars
Each limited-edition holiday bar is actually eight little bars in one because each square is its own flavor. Choose from dark chocolate or milk chocolate, both with seasonal flavors like gingerbread, eggnog, mulled wine and fruit cake. There are also naughty-and-nice themed wrappers for any of Miss Maude’s signature bars. Get them at Miss Maude’s shop in the near West End or find them at area shops.

5. Shyndigz Jingle Juices
The Shyndigz shop has mason jars of boozy bevvies packed, labeled and ready to pick up for gifting. Why not grab two of each flavor? There’s a Peppermint Mochatini made with peppermint Schnapps, Irish cream, Kahlua, milk and coffee, and Island Nog made with coconut custard, vanilla bourbon, cinnamon and nutmeg.

4. Tubs of Birdie’s
The RVA-made pimento cheese’s olive flavor only makes an appearance during the holiday season and the salty, savory profile makes a perfect fridge-stuffer. Find it all over town.

3. Idle Hands panettone
Panettone is pretty — and pretty difficult to make — so we are super lucky that Jay Metzler, owner of Idle Hands, has undertaken the challenge. The process includes a lievito madre (essentially a stiffer sourdough starter) and 36 hours of proofing for this sweet Italian bread. You can order it online, but get to it as this will be the last time you can snag it at Idle Hands’ current location before they move down the block.
