Mambo Combo in Ashland
The Bluemont Concert Series kicks off in Ashland with Latin and Caribbean dance music by Mambo Combo, a group known to lure even the poorest of dancers to their feet to discover the joys of their wiggling hips. Hip-Hop at Nanci Raygun
Underground hip-hop fills out the Raygun with performances by Footsoldiers, Dollaz and Pounds, Echo Boomers, Memphis 10, Clarck Boys, Ssseven, VA Slim and Devious Knievel Aug. 4. Richmond’s known, less-known and unknown throw rhymes around like a food fight with a heavy beat, starting at 10 p.m. Admission is $6 or $5 with a flyer.
