Pearls and Brass at Legend Brewing Company

Big and fuzzy sound, wandering, bluesy guitar work, a dedication to sheer output: Pearls and Brass falls loosely into that longhaired stoner-rock category, but the players don’t sit still long enough to drone. Asleep at the Wheel at Canal Club

Western swing, with all its fiddles and bass-thumping and slick guitars, is like the Texas equivalent of bluegrass.
