T-shirt, though: He’s one of the first to introduce hip-hop to the world, growing up in Harlem and spinning for hip-hop pioneers Bambaata and Zulu Nation. He broadcast hip-hop’s first steps on mainstream radio, and for his efforts, Rolling Stone called him one of music’s 50 most influential people.
