I’m all for restoring a part of my youth (“Nesting Instinct,” Arts & Culture, May 16). I have such fond memories of going to see movies at the Byrd with Eddie Weaver playing the organ. Why does Richmond always want to tear the good old relics down and build something new? We need to help restore the Byrd Theatre.
