It’s Richmond’s turn to come out for the historic unveiling of the “Rumors of War” sculpture, renowned artist Kehinde Wiley’s response to the nearby Confederate monuments. The permanent installation at the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts will include remarks by Wiley and will begin with a performance by the Richmond Public Schools all-city marching band. Other speakers include Mayor Levar Stoney, museum director Alex Nyerges and Monroe Harris, president of its board of trustees. 3:30 p.m. Free and open to the public, in front of the museum on Arthur Ashe Boulevard.
