Redeemer Lutheran Church is sponsoring a concert of sacred and secular music performed by The Wind Symphony from Concordia University Chicago. Admission is free. The ensemble, under the direction of Dr. Richard Fischer, has performed in 43 states, Canada, Europe, Asia and South Africa. The Wind Symphony has commissioned and premiered numerous wind compositions and produced 15 acclaimed recordings of sacred wind music. The concert is part the Wind Symphony’s Spring Tour March 8-17 where they also will be appearing at Carnegie Hall NYC for the New York Wind Band Festival.
