July 22, 1986

This Carpenter Center performance was “one of the most troubled opening nights in the city’s theater history.” The curtain went up at 9 o’clock — an hour late. The sets either didn’t descend far enough down from the fly gallery or came crashing to the stage. Regardless, theater critic Jerry Williams wrote, “… we got a flood of fun.”
