Re: “How Jim Crow Codified the Bigotry Already Woven Into the Fabric of Virginia

"There is a certain class of race problem-solvers who don't want the patient to get well, because as long as the disease holds out they have not only an easy means of making a living, but also an easy medium through which to make themselves prominent before the public."- Booker T. Washington

Re: “A New Book Aims to Clarify Antifa's True Mission and the Author is Coming to Richmond

Explain away the masks. Are they worn so parents won't see them and throw them out of the house, because they intend to commit crimes and don't want to be identified, or both?

Re: “The 2017 Richmond Power List: Politics

Funny how there's no mention of McAuliffe's suspicious failure to do even the most basic investigation into the Chinese company he enabled to rip off Virginia taxpayers for 1.4 million dollars. No mention either of McEachin's "Ashley Madison" account. But hey, they're both Democrats, so maybe it should come as no surprise.

Re: “Richmond Schools Superintendent Defers Questions About Federal Investigation

"Richmond Public Schools could eliminate discrimination and more effectively ensure safe and orderly schools through the use of positive behavioral interventions and supports, social and emotional learning programs and restorative justice processes." What a bunch of BS. Richmond Public Schools could eliminate discrimination and more effectively ensure safe and orderly schools through the use of two parent families who care about their kids, Moms who aren't working all day and partying all night, Dads who aren't in jail or out looking to spawn more illegitimate kids and real and effective discipline in the classroom.

Re: “Proposed Virginia Law Would Define Sanctuary City, Open Richmond to Liability

Apparently, political posturing is more important in some cities (see Charlottesville) than Federal funding. God forbid we should enforce existing Federal laws, right? More important for the AG, the Mayor of Charlottesville, and assorted politicians around the country to join in the anti-Trump, whining, "chicken little (the sky is falling) politics" of the party of entitlement. Who cares about Federal funding and grants anyway?

Re: “Representative-Elect Donald McEachin Says He’s Ready to Wade Into the D.C. Swamp

"Hes quick to turn the conversation to the other sides internal struggles and the perception that Trump will embrace policies to improve the lives of the working class." I suppose we'll just forget about his Ashley Madison account. LOL

Re: “Joe Morrissey Enters Richmond Mayoral Race

“If you elect me your mayor," Morrissey said, "you will get a full time mayor who will fight for everyone in this city, every ward, all day long." LOL. You'll get a mayor who will punch anyone in the nose at the drop of a hat and drop his drawers whenever the mood strikes him. You'll get a mayor who had his law license suspended by the State Bar. He could staff his office with young "interns." Really Richmond ? Isn't it time for someone with self control and responsibility ?
