Veterans Day Ceremony

When: Mon., Nov. 12, 11 a.m. 2018
The community is invited to join John Tyler Community College as it honors past and present members of the armed services during its annual Veterans Day Ceremony. This year’s ceremony will include a keynote address by Chesterfield County Sheriff Karl Leonard, who served as a Coast Guard reservist for 30 years. Also during the ceremony, Rolling Thunder Chapter 5 VA will present John Tyler Community College and its Student Veterans Organization with a POW/MIA flag, and the college will recognize its faculty, staff and student veterans. The ceremony will conclude with a memorial tree planting.
