Richmond’s First Baptist Church will host Upward Basketball for boys and girls grades 1-6, and Upward Cheerleading for girl’s kindergarten through grade 6. Registration is now open. Evaluations are Saturday, October 28, 2017 anytime between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. (evaluations only take ~30 minutes). Games begin in January. Upward is designed to give children and their families a positive sports experience using athletics to develop physical skills, character, self-worth and spiritual growth. The season incorporates practice, games, devotions, and a celebration event at the end of the season.
