Two university choirs, the Schola Cantorum and Women’s Chorale, will present new and familiar Christmas carols and anthems in the tradition of the annual Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols, first held at King’s College Chapel in Cambridge, England, on Christmas Eve in 1918. Pre-service music will be provided by City Singers Children's Choirs led by Leslie Dripps. The Rev. Craig Kocher, university chaplain, will preside over the services, which will conclude with the lighting of candles by the congregation and the singing of "Silent Night."
