A celebration of Richmond’s urban trail system and craft brewing culture, the fifth-annual running of Trails & Ales is set for Saturday, October 5th. The event will take place in Manchester at W. 10th Street and Semmes Avenue, adjacent to the SunTrust Mortgage offices, with the three-mile Pint Glass course starting at 4pm and seven-mile Tall Boy course starting at 4:20pm. The Dog Wave is available for both the three-mile and seven-mile distances. Registration is available online at www.sportsbackers.org or on site on Oct. 5 starting at 2:30pm, with a price of $45 for the three-mile course and $55 for the seven-mile course. Registration includes race entry and bib, one complimentary beer of your choice at the post-race festival (for participants age 21 and up), and a stainless steel finisher cup.
