Toys and Games of the Past

When: Sat., Aug. 12, 11 a.m.-1 p.m. 2017
Join us for an old-fashioned, toy-and-game event at the County Museum. Both young and old are invited to have fun and learn about traditional children’s play, such as Jacob’s ladder, knucklebones and quoits. Test your skill with the cup and ball or attempt to knock over all nine pins in a game of “skittles.” This fun-filled family event also will present the history behind many old fashioned toys and games. Children can make a whirligig toy to take home.
