He started playing bass in the Replacements with brother Bob on guitar when he was still a teenager. Since that band broke up, Tommy Stinson has gone on to front his own brash rock band, Bash & Pop, as well playing with superstars Guns & Roses before much larger audiences. Stinson has performed in Richmond a few times in recent years and will be returning for a special private show at Chilton house accompanied by friend, Chip Roberts and a couple guitars. This moniker Cowboys in the Campfire has a little more raw country-rock influence, and will feature new songs from an upcoming album in this unusual local setting. Tickets cost $20 to $60 and you purchase them at eventbrite.com. Ticket holders will be emailed the address of the house the day before the show. 7 p.m.
