Todd Barry is seriously funny. As a comedian, an ability to make strangers laugh is a big job requirement. But this New York -based actor’s wry take on things, especially music, sets him apart from the average joke shill. His poker-faced aesthetic and measured delivery share the same attention to detail that made Jerry Seinfeld a household name. A comedian’s comedian — Louis C.K. is one of his biggest champions — Barry is an observational craftsman of rare and thoroughly hilarious deadpan ability. He brings his low-key sarcasms to Gallery5 as part of its 10th anniversary celebrations Sunday, March 29. Doors open at 7 p.m. Tickets are $20.
