This famous late string quartet in five movements contains Beethoven’s epithet “hymn of thanksgiving to God upon recovery from an illness.”  We pair this profound music with a reading by Kenneth A. Myers of T. S. Eliot’s iconic poetry Four Quartets. Musicians: Fiona Hughes & Sarah Darling (Classical violin), Jason Fisher (Classical viola) and Benjamin Wyatt (Classical cello). Reader: Kenneth A. Myers. Pre-concert talk at 7:00 pm. Repeats in Staunton and Charlottesville/Keswick.
