Three Centuries of Medicine 

When: Sat., April 15, 11 a.m.-1 p.m. 2017
The Chesterfield Historical Society of Virginia will present a living history event. Drop in anytime between 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. to step back in time and learn about medicine of past centuries. Nona Wartella will explain the role of the 18th and 19th century midwife in assisting childbirth. Dr. Jonathan O’Neal will interpret period medicine in the South during the American Civil War, from treatment of wounds to hospitalization. Learn about WWII South Pacific Navy medicine with Keith Southall.
