Celebrate Thomas Jefferson’s 277th birthday at his boyhood home. Tuckahoe is holding Jefferson’s Birthday Bash where you can come enjoy some of the things that Jefferson himself cherished most: gardens, good food and books. Wander the blooming gardens with the $5 admission fee and enjoy some colonial games on the grassy lawn. Meet the authors and have your book signed by Virginia historians who have told the stories of Virginia, Thomas Jefferson and the plantation. The historic home, where Jefferson grew up is open for guided tours for an additional $5 per guest.
