The Good Witch

Boo Who?

1. How long did your bag of candy last before every piece was either gobbled or petrified?
It actually lasted for weeks. I would lay all the candy out and sort it by kind. I always ate the nastiest candy first, saving the best for last — the chocolate bars!

2. Did you ever actually eat the Bit-O-Honey?
I loved the Bit-O-Honey. I eat them out of our candy machine at work to this day!

3. What was your greatest achievement in Halloween costumes?
I had just moved here to Richmond and a bunch of us in the newsroom headed down to Shockoe Slip for the Big Party. We donned green garbage bags with garden hose wrapped around us. We were hose bags! OK, it was the late '80s!

4. Which Halloween costume of yours is potential blackmail material?
Check with my husband on this one.

5. What scares you to your core?
Snakes. I once chopped an ordinary garden snake into hundreds of pieces.

6. If you could have a super power, what would it be?
I'd like to be able to read people's minds — know what they are thinking all the time.

7. If you could be someone else for a day, who would you be?
A rock 'n' roll singer. Any singer who could carry a tune and perform on stage.

8. Who is the scariest person you've ever met?
When I was 6, my next door neighbor who used to baby-sit was pretty scary. Also, my best friend all through elementary and high school — her mom was a witch! We used to look through her witchcraft books. Now that is scary!

9. Who's the coolest: Dracula, Frankenstein or the Wolfman?
Dracula — hands down!

10. Have you ever had a paranormal experience?
No, but there's still time.
