Join the Science Museum of Virginia and clinical microbiologist Arthur Guruswamy for a lecture featuring the most recent success of the CRISPR/gene editing technology. This lecture will highlight the technology’s application to Type 2 diabetes, Autism spectrum disorders, Alzheimer’s disease, sickle cell and muscular dystrophy. Arthur is a master at discussing this complex topic in easy to understand terms that will leave the audience with a better understanding of a technology that is expected to have a large impact on our lives in the near future.
