It’s been more than 40 years since the New-Orleans based Dirty Dozen Brass Band first launched its musical gumbo of traditional brass band music with bebop jazz, funk, R&B and soul. Known for its collaborations with a wide range of artists from Widespread Panic to Modest Mouse, the group will no doubt get the intimate listening room moving. Tickets are $35 in advance, $40 at the door. Doors open at 6 p.m. show at 8 p.m. tinpanrva.com.
